Hyperhidrosis, is a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably. It can be physically, emotionally and psychologically challenging. It is disruptive to simple tasks such as writing, shaking hands and wearing certain types of clothing.

Tap water iontophoresis (TWI) treatment consists of introducing the treatment area to water which has a mild and safe electrical current for short periods of time.

SweatStop® Iontophoresis DE20 is a tap water iontophoresis device used for the treatment of excessive sweating. It is a direct and pulsed current therapy device for the treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) for the hands, feet, underarms. Face/head, chest/back attachment sold separately.

The battery charge remains for 30-50 applications (1-3 months). The battery lasts for about 1000 charging cycles equivalent to several years.
