The Exciplex. A Clinically Proven Excimer System for Localized Skin Treatment
More than 200 clinical studies have shown the efficiency of Monochromatic Excimer Light (MEL) 308nm in treating auto-immune skin diseases.
Exciplex emits Monochromatic Excimer Light at 308nm, the best wavelength to treat chronic auto-immune skin diseases. An innovative and modern device with unmatched clinical efficiency.
Treat the following indications
Vitiligo – It has been proven efficacious in vitiligo using excimer lamp system and has potential for widespread usage due to its faster and better repigmentation rates and limited side-effect profile.
Psoriasis – Our results show that MEL treatment causes a significant depletion of T cells in all psoriatic lesions, 48 h after the first irradiation: 308 nm light eliminated T cells from the psoriatic epidermis as well as from the dermis.
Alopecia Areata – Our results suggest that the 308-nm excimer lamp is a good therapeutic alternative without serious side effect for treating AA (Alopecia Areata).
Mycosis Fungoides – Our preliminary results suggest that MEL phototherapy is a possibly very useful treatment modality in patch stage IA MF.
Atopic Dermatitis – MEL can be considered as a valid and safe therapeutic option for the treatment of localized AD in adults and children.
